TCN Unveils Anti-Corruption Policy, Demands Ethical Conduct
The document was unveiled on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at TCN’s corporate headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, by the company’s Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU).
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of TCN, Engr. Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, represented by the Executive Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services, Mrs. Abiodun Afolabi-Fadahunsi, described the policy as a significant step towards reinforcing the company’s commitment to ethical standards and zero tolerance for corruption.
Abdulaziz said TCN’s credibility depended not only on its achievements but also on the manner in which they were achieved, urging staff to familiarise themselves with the policy and apply its provisions in their daily duties.
He commended ACTU and other contributors to the development of the document, saying its objective went beyond preventing corruption to promoting honesty, fairness, accountability, transparency and professionalism within the company.
The TCN boss also urged staff to support the implementation of the policy and uphold its principles in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Earlier, the Chairman of ACTU, TCN, Mrs. E. Benibo, said the unveiling represented a collective commitment by the management and staff to strengthening integrity, transparency and accountability.
Benibo said corruption weakens institutions, erodes public trust and wastes valuable resources, stressing that combating the practice required the commitment of every member of staff.
Presenting an overview of the policy, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) representative and ACTU Desk Officer attached to TCN, Mrs. Monsurat Ajoke Ifeajika, said the document would help influence conduct, guide decision-making and strengthen institutional systems.
She explained that the policies provide guidelines for preventing, detecting, reporting and responding to unethical and corrupt practices.
The highlight of the event was the formal unveiling of TCN’s Anti-Corruption Policy Document.
