Wola Joseph-Condotti Appointed Eko Disco CEO as Rekhia Momoh Resigns
Eko Electricity Distribution Company has announced the appointment of Wola Joseph-Condotti as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the resignation of Rekhia Momoh after nearly two years at the helm of the company.
Before her appointment, Joseph-Condotti served as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of West Power and Gas Limited, the parent company of Eko Disco. Her elevation to the role is seen as a strategic move aimed at strengthening leadership continuity and driving long-term growth within the electricity distribution company.
Joseph-Condotti is widely regarded as a thought leader in Nigeria’s power sector. She brings extensive experience across the energy value chain, with particular focus on renewable energy, sustainability initiatives, and emerging opportunities in carbon markets and carbon credit development.
Industry observers note that her leadership is expected to support Eko Disco’s transition toward more sustainable energy practices while improving operational efficiency and service delivery to customers within its distribution network.
The company has not yet disclosed details surrounding Momoh’s resignation or outlined immediate strategic changes, but stakeholders anticipate that the new leadership will build on existing reforms while positioning Eko Disco for future challenges in Nigeria’s evolving power sector.
