The Mozambique Mining & Energy Conference & Exhibition (MMEC) 2026

The Mozambique Mining & Energy Conference & Exhibition (MMEC) 2026 will take place from 6–7 May 2026 in Maputo, Mozambique, under the theme: “Mozambique: Open for Business  Unlocking Natural Resources for Industrialisation, Diversification, and Inclusive Growth.”

MMEC 2026 is Mozambique’s leading platform connecting government, investors, and industry across the mining, oil, gas, and energy sectors. This year’s edition will feature high-level ministerial and presidential addresses, strategic roundtables, and ten focused panel sessions exploring the full resource value chain from upstream and downstream oil & gas, sustainable mining, clean energy access, and project finance, to infrastructure, local content, and community partnerships.

Highlights include discussions on Rovuma LNG, Coral North FID, green industrial parks, renewable power integration, infrastructure corridors, and local content modernisation. The event offers an exceptional opportunity to engage with over 600 decision-makers from more than 25 countries, share case studies, and identify investment-ready projects driving Mozambique’s next growth phase.

MMEC 2026 will also feature the Gala Dinner & MMEC Awards Night, celebrating excellence and innovation across the country’s extractive industries.
