Team Integrity Tops Medals Table at 14th NNPC Sports Fiesta
…As Ojulari Charges Staff to Make Company Proud at Oil Industry Games
The 14th NNPC Ltd. Sports Fiesta ended in grand style on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, with Team Integrity finishing at the top of the medals table and emerging the overall best team of the week-long competition.
Team Integrity — representing athletes from NNPC’s Port Harcourt and Benin Zones — clinched the top spot with an impressive 31 gold, 18 silver, and 21 bronze medals, in addition to winning nine trophies across events.

Ojulari Commends Athletes for Excellence and Team Spirit
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd., praised the athletes’ performances, describing them as a strong reminder that NNPC can excel both on the sports field and in the business arena through resilience, teamwork, and excellence.
He also charged staff to carry the discipline and unity displayed during the Games into their daily work:
“Let the discipline you showed throughout these games elevate our performance; let the unity you built here strengthen our teamwork; let the excellence you demonstrated become our daily standard.”
Ojulari reiterated NNPC Ltd.’s readiness to defend its long-standing dominance at the 20th Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry Games (NOGIG) scheduled for February 2026, noting that the Fiesta has produced athletes capable of sustaining the Company’s winning legacy.

Themed “Energy In Motion: Compete, Connect & Celebrate,” the 14th NNPC Sports Fiesta brought together 450 athletes, reinforcing the company’s conviction that physical wellness directly enhances productivity and teamwork.

NNPC Ltd. has consistently dominated the Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry Games, competing alongside teams from International Oil Companies (IOCs) and agencies under the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
