According to a statement signed by Stanley Opara, Manager, Corporate Communications, the company’s path to certification reflected collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement. From conducting gap assessments to implementing robust safety controls and engaging employees at every level, Seplat’s efforts were driven by its vision to create a safer and healthier workplace. The certification, which enhances operational resilience and mitigates workplace risks, also reinforces Seplat Energy’s reputation as a responsible and integrity-driven company. "This certification is not the end," the company noted. "It’s a foundation for sustained growth and safety leadership." Chief Executive Officer, Roger Brown, described the certification as a defining moment for the company. “Achieving the ISO 45001:2018 certification marks a significant milestone in our journey towards operational excellence and employee wellbeing," he said. “Safety is not just a priority, it is a core value embedded in our culture.
