These contributions are set to strengthen the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), enhance patient care, and ensure a more stable supply of critical drugs.

Mr. Igo Weli, General Manager of Relations and Sustainable Development at Renaissance, highlighted the impact of the donation, stating:
“Our aim is to support the hospital’s ability to deliver life-saving critical care, contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals, and empower the medical staff who work tirelessly to improve patient outcomes.”

Also speaking at the event, Mrs. Uzo Ejidoh, Stakeholder Relations Lead at NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services, reaffirmed the joint venture’s unwavering commitment to social impact:
“This donation is part of a wider CSR strategy by the Renaissance-led JV. We’re dedicated to initiatives that create lasting value, especially in the healthcare sector, where our investments continue to transform lives.”

Receiving the equipment on behalf of RSUTH, Chief Medical Director Professor Chizindu Alikor expressed appreciation for the support, noting the critical state of the hospital’s ICU facilities:
