Renaissance Africa Energy, PSIN Host Strategic Oil and Gas Seminar in Abuja
Renaissance Africa Energy Company, in partnership with the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), has hosted a two-day strategic Oil and Gas Seminar for directors and senior government officials in Abuja.
The seminar brought together senior public sector leaders and industry experts to strengthen collaboration, build institutional capacity, and align efforts toward advancing Nigeria’s energy future.
Participants included Barrister Imeh Okon, Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of PSIN; Patience Oyekunle, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, who represented the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack; Ignatius Anyanwu, Director of Hydrocarbon Production at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), who represented the Commission Chief Executive, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan; and Igo Weli, Executive Vice President for Responsibility and Sustainable Development at Renaissance Africa Energy Company.
Discussions at the seminar focused on strengthening government–industry collaboration, improving institutional capacity, and identifying opportunities to drive energy security, sustainable growth, and value creation across the sector.
