Policymakers, Operators to Chart Nigeria’s Energy Future at NAEC 2025 Conference
On October 9, 2025, Nigeria’s top policymakers, regulators, and operators in oil, gas, power, and solid minerals will gather at Eko Hotel, Lagos, for the Annual NAEC Energy Conference organised by the Association of Energy Correspondents of Nigeria.
Themed “Nigeria’s Energy Future: Exploring Opportunities and Addressing Risks for Sustainable Growth”, the event will feature presentations from key figures including Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil); Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas); Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Minister of Power; Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, CEO of NUPRC; Engr. Farouk Ahmed, CEO of NMDPRA; and Mele Kyari’s successor, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd.
According to NAEC Chairman Ugo Amadi and Planning Committee Chair Dr. Adeola Yusuf, the conference will feature three technical sessions on upstream growth, midstream/downstream infrastructure, and renewable energy. It will also debut the NAEC Industry Awards to promote inclusivity and transparency.
