NDPHC, KAEDCO Strengthen Collaboration to Improve Electricity Delivery in Kaduna
The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) and Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO) have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing electricity supply across Kaduna State through stronger operational collaboration.
As part of this effort, KAEDCO Chairman, Mr. Aminu Suleiman, and the company’s Managing Director, Dr. Umar Abubakar Hashidu, paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NDPHC, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, and the company’s executive management team at its headquarters on Tuesday, February 3.
The meeting served as a strategic forum for both organisations to explore joint initiatives aimed at improving service reliability and strengthening electricity distribution within KAEDCO’s coverage area.
Discussions focused on developing coordinated approaches that better align power generation capacity with distribution operations, with the goal of addressing persistent supply challenges affecting customers in the franchise region.
Officials from both companies expressed confidence that sustained cooperation would lead to measurable gains in electricity generation output, improved distribution efficiency, and overall better performance across the power value chain in the near future.
