NDPHC Holds Induction for New Staff

The three-day induction programme for newly engaged staff of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) culminated with a tour of the Geregu Power Plant in Kogi State.

The 45 inductees from Abuja, led by the Executive Director, Strategy and Commercial, Hon. Patrick Obaigbon, and General Manager, Human Resources, Mrs. Funke Nwankwo, received a firsthand experience of NDPHC’s power generation operations.

NDPHC Plant COO, Engr. Abiose Wasiu welcomed the team and described Geregu as the “star and jewel” of NDPHC, highlighting its sustained generation performance and strong maintenance culture.

The tour featured an inspection of the plant, engagement with technical teams, and an interactive session in the control room.

It was a practical and insightful conclusion to an induction programme designed to connect NDPHC’s newest staff with the organisation’s operations, people and purpose.
