NCDMB Summit Reflects Collective Commitment to Strengthening Indigenous Participation- Kikile
Kikile stated that the theme of this year’s summit, “Unlocking, Growing & Sustaining Nigerian Content Development in Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Midstream and Downstream Sectors,” reflects collective commitment to strengthening indigenous participation, promoting local capacity development, encouraging investment, and ensuring sustainable economic growth for the nation.
He added: “Over the next two days, this platform will foster meaningful engagement among regulators, operators, investors, service providers, financial institutions, policymakers, and other critical stakeholders. We are confident that the discussions, technical sessions, and strategic collaborations from this summit will generate practical solutions and actionable outcomes that will further enhance the growth and competitiveness of Local capacity in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.”
NCDMB remains committed to advancing policies and programmes that promote value retention within the country, create employment opportunities for Nigerians, strengthen local manufacturing and service capabilities, and deepen strategic partnerships across the industry value chain.
According to the Ag Director MED, the summit also provides an important opportunity to unveil and discuss strategic initiatives aimed at improving compliance, governance, operational efficiency, and sustainable development within the midstream and downstream sectors.
