JOB OPPORTUNITY: PROJECT PLANNER (REF: IEA 2025/006)

A leading EPC company and an active player in the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria seeks a Project Planner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Project Planner will be responsible for project planning, scheduling and control. To develop, implement and manage project control procedures for the planning of projects and the preparation of project schedules with resource loading.

Also responsible for developing project baseline schedules and updates as well as progress monitoring and reporting. Project Planner will be responsible for supporting the project management team in the execution of project work and the control of the schedule. Monitor and track Project performance, prepare and present various project progress reports and ensure strict adherence to the project timelines. Provide schedule support and assistance to the project controls team. Support and communicate with project team members, contractors, and management for all projects assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES
Applicants must possess the following:

• BSc or HND in any related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

• Project Management certification will be an added advantage

• Good knowledge of JAVA or experience in related field

• Experience in Oil & Gas is an added advantage

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both oral and written

• Ability to work effectively independently and under pressure

• Ability to work with various departments and build relationships
