Dangote Begins Nationwide Fuel Distribution with Free Delivery and Credit Offers Starting August 15
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a major nationwide rollout of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel distribution beginning August 15, 2025, marking a significant development in Nigeria’s fuel supply landscape.
In a bold move to improve access, affordability, and efficiency in the downstream oil sector, the company will deploy 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tankers to deliver fuel across the country at no additional cost to recipients. This free delivery service targets petrol stations, independent and major fuel marketers, manufacturers, telecom providers, aviation companies, and other large-scale consumers in both urban and remote areas.
In line with its commitment to sustainability and clean energy, Dangote is also investing in CNG booster stations and has already stationed over 100 CNG-powered tankers to support seamless and eco-friendly distribution. To further support the market and encourage bulk purchases, the company is offering a credit facility to customers who procure a minimum of 500,000 litres. Eligible buyers will receive an additional 500,000 litres on a two-week credit basis, backed by a bank guarantee—providing a major liquidity relief for marketers and industrial users.

The refinery’s initiative is designed to reduce transportation costs, stabilize fuel prices, reinvigorate dormant fuel stations, and stimulate job creation across the fuel supply chain. It also aims to improve access to energy in underserved and rural communities, addressing long-standing distribution gaps. This move aligns with the Federal Government’s Naira-for-Crude policy and supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by strengthening national energy security and economic inclusiveness.
Dangote Petroleum Refinery described the move as a transformative milestone for the sector, emphasizing its goal of inclusive growth and affordable energy. “This is not just about selling fuel,” the company stated. “It is about empowering the nation, creating opportunities, and ensuring no Nigerian community is left behind in the journey toward cleaner, more efficient energy use.”
