Aradel Holdings Clinches Integrated Operator Honour at NIES 2026
Aradel Holdings Plc has been honoured with the Best Full-Field Integrated Operator Award at the 9th Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES 2026), organised by the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
The award recognises energy companies whose activities cut across upstream production, midstream infrastructure development, and downstream distribution, demonstrating a fully integrated approach to value creation within Nigeria’s energy value chain. Recipients were selected through a comprehensive evaluation process that included voting by key stakeholders across the industry.
According to the NIES management, Aradel earned the recognition for its coordinated asset development strategy, infrastructure integration, and efficient market delivery systems, which collectively enhance production performance, strengthen domestic energy supply, and support long-term sector growth.
This marks the second time the company has received recognition for its integrated operating model at the summit. At the 2024 edition of the Energy Industry Awards, held during the 7th NIES, Aradel was named Best Fully Integrated Energy Company of the Year, reinforcing its consistent performance across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
Commenting on the award, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aradel Holdings Plc, Adegbite Falade, said the recognition reflects the company’s sustained commitment to integration, operational scale, and long-term growth across the energy value chain.
He noted that the company remains dedicated to supporting Nigeria’s energy development through operational excellence and strategic infrastructure investments, adding that Aradel’s recent milestone of 20 years of continuous production underscores its enduring focus on delivering long-term value to stakeholders.
“We are proud of our contribution to Nigeria’s energy development through operational excellence and strategic infrastructure investment. Building on the strong foundation laid by our founders, and having recently attained 20 years of continuous production, we remain focused on long-term value creation for our stakeholders,” Falade said.
The Nigeria International Energy Summit is regarded as one of Africa’s leading energy platforms, bringing together policymakers, regulators, industry operators, investors, and global partners to drive dialogue on policy, investment, and innovation in the sector. The award was presented during the summit’s Gala Dinner and Award Night held at the State House Banquet Hall, Aso Villa, Abuja.
