All On Invests ₦2 Billion in Salpha Energy to Expand Solar Assembly and Boost Clean Energy Access in Nigeria

By Ikojie Emmanuel

In a landmark move to strengthen Nigeria’s renewable energy landscape, All On, a leading impact investment company focused on expanding energy access, has announced a ₦2 billion investment in Salpha Energy. This significant funding will help scale local solar assembly operations and extend clean energy access to millions of Nigerians living in off-grid and underserved areas.

Salpha Energy, a female-led clean energy company, has earned recognition for its reliable solar solutions tailored for communities with limited access to electricity. The new investment from All On will support Salpha’s mission by expanding its product offerings, boosting operations, and upgrading its local solar assembly plant—the only one led by a woman in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Empowering Communities Through Innovation

Salpha’s solar assembly facility gives the company full control over design, technical performance, and product quality. This ensures solar technologies are not only cost-effective but also suited to the specific needs of African households, businesses, and institutions. Their integrated systems—ranging from 150Wp to 100kWp—include battery storage and smart inverters, providing essential services such as:

  • Lighting for homes and schools

  • Refrigeration and ventilation

  • Power for medical equipment in primary healthcare centres

  • Reliable energy for micro-enterprises and other critical infrastructure

With over 2 million lives already impacted, Salpha is proving how localized, scalable solutions can transform communities and drive sustainable growth.

A Strategic Investment for Nigeria’s Energy Future

At the signing ceremony, Caroline Eboumbou, CEO of All On, emphasized the importance of the investment in driving indigenous innovation:

“All On is happy to provide local currency financing to help local industries solve the long-standing industry currency mismatch risk. This investment aligns with our mission to bridge the energy access gap by backing innovative local companies like Salpha Energy. It’s not just about delivering power—it’s about creating jobs, building resilience, and accelerating universal access to energy.”

Leading the Charge for “Energy Freedom”

Sandra Chukwudozie, Founder and CEO of Salpha Energy, expressed her excitement about the partnership:

“This capital raise is a huge step forward in our vision to power homes and businesses with products designed, assembled, and optimized here in Africa. For us, energy access is about dignity, productivity, and opportunity for the over 600 million people across Sub-Saharan Africa who are still off-grid.”

Building an Inclusive, Renewable Energy Ecosystem

This collaboration between All On and Salpha Energy reflects a shared commitment to building a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable energy future for Nigeria and beyond. It also underscores the powerful role of female leadership and local manufacturing in addressing Africa’s most pressing development challenges.
