AECIPA to Showcase Angolan Service Industry Opportunities at Invest in African Energy (IAE) 2024

The Association of Service Providers of the Angolan Oil & Gas Industry (AECIPA) is gearing up to participate in the Invest in African Energy (IAE) 2024 forum, organized by Energy Capital & Power. AECIPA’s agenda at the event will revolve around discussions on investment prospects in burgeoning regional markets, with a special emphasis on Angola.

The forum will shed light on opportunities available to both local and international service providers, particularly in areas such as new drilling initiatives, gas export infrastructure, and enhancing value chain efficiency.

AECIPA, led by its CEO Bráulio de Brito, will lead a delegation of 15 Angolan companies to the event, with the aim of attracting global investment. Scheduled to take place in Paris on May 14-15, 2024, the forum is designed to facilitate investment interactions between African energy markets and global investors. Over the course of two days, participants can expect deep engagement with industry experts, project developers, investors, and policymakers.

AECIPA’s strategic focus is on bolstering engagement and expanding opportunities for its members within the Angolan and wider regional oil and gas sector. Noteworthy among its recent initiatives is the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Namibian Association for Offshore Oil and Gas Service Providers last August.

This agreement aims to foster information sharing, promote best practices, conduct research, exchange market insights, and enhance regulatory compliance efforts.
