Adighije: Nigerians to Experience Improved Power Supply as Tinubu’s Agenda Gains Momentum
Nigerians are set to experience more efficient and reliable electricity supply as efforts to strengthen the nation’s power sector intensify under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), Engineer Jennifer Adighije, has said.
Adighije made this known in her New Year message to Nigerians, where she emphasized the importance of unity, optimism, and sustained national commitment to achieving a dependable and sustainable electricity supply.
According to her, NDPHC remains firmly committed to efficient power generation, which she described as a critical pillar in the broader national strategy to strengthen the electricity value chain and improve service delivery across the country.
Stakeholder Collaboration Key to Power Sector Growth
The NDPHC Managing Director stressed that achieving sustainable power supply requires collective resolve and cooperation among all stakeholders, including government institutions, the private sector, host communities, and citizens.
She noted that coordinated efforts across the power ecosystem would accelerate progress and ensure that Nigerians reap the benefits of ongoing reforms in the sector.

“This New Year, I urge every Nigerian to remain hopeful and united. When we support the President’s vision for a revitalized power sector, we are investing in our shared future,” Adighije said.
She added that NDPHC will continue to play its role in driving efficient power generation to support national development goals.
“NDPHC is dedicated to efficient power generation, and together with the nation, we will make sustainable electricity a reality,” she stated.
Adighije reaffirmed the company’s alignment with the federal government’s power sector reforms, expressing confidence that sustained implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda would translate into improved electricity supply and long-term energy security for Nigerians.
